[Bug report] Borderlands Installation error

Description, steps to reproduce:
I'm trying to install borderlands but just at the beginning the installer crashes and throws me this message: "Installation ended prematurely because of an error". I made a search on internet and found that it's because of an mdi issues or something alike. May you help me please (also found that other people got the same problem)
