Hi everybody,
The upcoming patch of League Of Legends will break PlayOnLinux support. The new version will have a new shop interface, that causes problem with
current d3dwine function.
The good news is that thanks to
iLoL project, we will have a wine patch that should fix this bug when the patch is released.
The problem is that you will have to update your League Of Legends installation. I will give several solutions for that:
- The script will be updated for people who want to reinstall it cleanly
- A script will be made to update your current League Of Legends installation
- You will be able to change manually your League Of Legends wine version through PlayOnLinux configure menu. The new version should be 1.5.12-LeagueOfLegends
A big thank to iLoL team, and especially Boompje, who contacted me by mail to tell me about the problem and to send me the fix, and also ramma42, who wrote the wine patch. It is thanks to these people that you will likely be able to play League Of Legends on Linux with PlayOnLinux
Stay tuned for the scripts

Hi all,
GOG.com is currently upgrading many of its game installers to version 2.0, I guess planning to upgrade them all.

This breaks existing scripts:
- Download hashes must be updated
- The new installer crashes right away if it can't find the native gdiplus.dll library. (A workaround is to use Wine >= 1.5.9, but I can't enforce this version on all games)
- There's a potential issue at the end of installation on multi-screen setups, if you're in such case feedback is welcome
- Installation path and filename cases changes
Obviously updating all scripts and test them will take a while, so expect disruptions for the time being.
In the meanwhile, if you saved the v1 installers, you can use them instead of downloading the v2. If you didn't keep the old installers, all you can do is wait for the script to be updated.
I'm trying to modify the scripts so that the old installers should still work, but for lack of time scripts will only be thoroughly tested with latest installer available,
thank you for your understanding.

Torin's Passage
Helped by his shapeshifting pet Boogle, Torin must free his parents from the sorceress Lycentia.
Not as deadly difficult (and not as praised) as the average Sierra adventure game, this game has been designed to be played by the whole family.
Puzzles are still challenging, and the story has jokes for all ages. Torin's Passage could also be a soft introduction to the point-and-click gaming genre.
