I use playonlinux for a few weeks now and always worked great (Ubuntu 10.04); last week, when I tried to install a driver for a usb to serial converter, I started playonlinux and during start up, looked for update and then crashed -
after this I cannot restart playonlinux unless I reboot the computer
any ideas / solutions?
thanks,
Dimitris

I don't know if you have many application installed with POL but you can try to rename the .PlayOnLinux folder and restart POL to see if it crash again.

I tried renaming .PlayOnLinux and restarted POL - run but then died - messed up also my installed software;
I removed POL, and reinstalled it and seems to work fine (I have to update some of the software links but other than that looks fine)
I will update later on the status
