Alone in the dark GOG (dosbox) fullscreen?

Hey all,

I installed Alone in the Dark 1 (GOG) on Arch Linux, and after installing a couple of dependencies needed by DOSBox (libpng12 & esound), the game is working well.

One issue, however, is that even though DOSBox runs in fullscreen mode, the actual game only uses up a tiny portion (640x480?) of the pixels in the center of the screen.

I tried modifying "dosboxAlone1.conf" to have the game scaled up to use the full screen, but none of the changes I make to the configuration file appear to have any effect, e.g.:

fullscreen=true
fulldouble=false
fullresolution=1280x800
windowresolution=1280x800
output=opengl

I'm running PlayOnLinux 4.1.1 on Arch Linux 32-bit.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

PlayOnLinux DOSBox support does not use dosboxAlone1.conf; Check playonlinux_dos.cfg in the prefix directory (~/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/AloneInTheDark1_gog/)
