Warcraft III installers updated

Hi everybody,

To continue with the Blizzard serie, I've updated the good old Warcraft III installers.

The old installer was really broken, and it was likely not to run with recent versions of PlayOnLinux and PlayOnMac. More over, it did not support Blizzard Online installer

Now it is fixed. Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne works on Linux and Mac OS (for those of you you are running Lion and only have a Power PC installer)

Rank: Membre	soo about that feedback, when i try to install on cd it says i need version 4.0.20, but the newest one is 4.0.19 :/ also wanted to say good job anyway, i love warcraft III oh so much

Rank: Admin	Yeah that's right 4.0.20 (which I'm the only one to have for the moment) functions are needed to install the CD-ROM version. Don't worry, I will release it very quickly. If you don't want to wait, download the installer from Blizzard's website

Rank: Membre	actually i did that and i got reign of chaos running but when i try the same with Frozen Throne it says that i need warcraft 3 reign of chaos installed... any suggestions?

Rank: Admin	Yep, sorry I forgot it. That's weird, it worked just good on my Mac Maybe you should retry from scratch. Ensure you are using Blizzard website installer in each case

Rank: Admin	Cyrex, you can use the command to get the developement version (git), it will work like a charm Anyway, having bought the cdrom give you the access to download the digital version for free on Blizzard's website I could not test the cdrom installer because my original cdroms are broken, but if you have any problem, you can be sure that we will help you

Rank: Guest	Hey, installation of Reign of Chaos from the Battle.net Installer just works fine on my machine but I get a memory access error if I try to start it and then it asks me for the CD. Kinda strange. I'm on Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard and 4.1.0 if that's any help.

Rank: Guest	Thanks for the suggestion but I used the installer which installs 1.21b and then executed the 1.26a patch, so it should be the latest version. Or is it possibile I patched it wrong?

Rank: Guest	So I downloaded The Playonmac application..for my macbook and I also downloaded Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos from battlenet I ran the installer with Playonmac and it was working well up to the point where I recognize the green orc loading screen. And then it gives me a fatal error warning telling me that it cannot find the CD in my CD ROM drive... I bought the CD through battlenet so i have no CD to put in there.. any ideas on what i should do?

What will i do ? i install directx then it cant be open again . Then i open some games like solitaire "error directx " . My friend told me that i just repatch or recopy the file . Is it effective ? 3weeks after when the last i playing warcraft 3 i missed it haha ) Can you teach me what will i do to solve this problem
