Hi
I know it's not nice to start a first topic form a problem - sorry about that , hope that I will help someday too .
The problem is that I don't know how to approach POL to install an aplication on an other partition.
I'm using Debian Squeeze distro
I've read a simmilar theard
http://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-2689-Installation_directory.html
and it did not help (I could not find "POL Helper package" and the theard itself is about a year old)
Thanks for any help.

Well, a good GNU/Linux install include main HDD size to "/home" directory, since it's the userspace directory of the whole system.
I suggest you make better debian install, with decent size for "/home". Installing GNU/Linux system is easy and quickly done.
And don't try to make windows/linux sharing partition for games/softwares because it will not work, wine do not like FAT32/NTFS partition type at all.
A clean and UNIX formated partition is mandatory to make wine/PoL work as expected.

(Otherwise, ln -s /media/Volume/POL $HOME/.PlayOnLinux)
but as raziel said, don't do that with vfat/ntfs volume
