Hi bain,

If you want to help us, there are different ways:
-First, as just said, you can help us to extend our list of compatible games by writing scripts.
To write a script for a game, you must own it (or a friend could lent it to you) , have PlayOnLinux installed and have some knowledges in bash scripts.
To understand how to write a script, read some of the existing scripts and go read THIS topic.

- But If you don't have the required knowledges (although they are very basic), you can become moderator of this forum (if you have time)

- Finally, another solution is to become newser. It's simple, you just have to write news about free software and/or video games for our web site. (soon, we will add a feature in order anyone can propose a news, which will be validated (or not) by a newser).

Bye.

P.S: I forgot ! If you have some knowledges in a language not yet available for POL, you can help us to translate it.

That's cool !

Just 2 more advices for scripting:
Before starting to write one for a game, go search in the wine appdb (Application database) if your game is compatible with Wine (because PlayOnLinux use mainly Wine) or if there isn't any known bug.

And, once your script is done, create a topic in "Your creations" subsection of the forum before proposing it officially. Thus, other members of the staff or other forum's members will can give their opinion on the script or give advices.

Bye
