Custom Application crashes upon opening

Greetings!

I was trying to run an application which didn't really succeed. It has no installation, just a zip file, so after creating the virtual drive for it, I copied the files into it's "Program Files" folder, and selected the executable to be ran. I planned to exit immediately after it started, so that would be like the end of installation. The problem was that it crashed immediately after I selected it, I saved the backtrace and posted it here:

http://pastebin.com/T5Pgh3AX

I ran it on an HP Probook 4530s laptop, which has the following specifications:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz
4GB DDR3
Switchable graphics:
    Intel HD Graphics 3000 (UMA)
    AMD Radeon™ HD 6490M, 512-MB or 1-GB (discrete)

OS: Ubuntu 14.04.1 3.13.0-43-generic #72-Ubuntu SMP x86_64
Using ATI Proprietary drivers version:
    From ati webpage: Omega (14.12)
    From synaptic: 2:14.501-0ubuntu1

This is the output when I run fglrxinfo:
    display: :0  screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series
OpenGL version string: 4.4.13283 Compatibility Profile Context 14.501.1003

PlayOnLinux 4.2.5
Tried the installation with:
    Wine 1.7.33
    Wine 1.7.22

Tried adding various addons, like directx9, vcrun (all of them), dotnet 2 and dotnet 4, but none of them solved the problem.
I tried out to run it using the configuration for the game Rage as well, but same thing happened.

The app was downloaded from the following link (it's around 5MB) and is supposed to be a My Little Pony game demo:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/pqio5r2sfjqvfsr/party.zip

Hope someone can figure this out, my little sister is counting on me for this :)

Thanks

You should be downloading the game from the game's publisher. Not mediafire. Can you try it with the legit version from the publishers site?

Thanks for your reply, it's actually not really a published game, more like a development preview as far as I can see. But you gave me a great idea, so I dig around and found the blender source files for it, and it's running from there. I guess we can live with that, maybe my little sister will start learning blender as well, thanks to this.

Blender wrocks. I know people that have used Bryce for years that switched over to Blender. Their docs and the tutorials out there are in great abundance, too. :)
