Dungeon Keeper 2 double vision cursor with MacBook Trackpad

Trackpad issue causes cursor to be in two places at once!

I was playing Dungeon Keeper II with my MacBook when I noticed double vision for the cursor; where the Hand of Evil™ is simultaneous at the top and bottom of the screen.

Does anybody know how to stop this please or is it a problem with the TrackPad with older Windows games in general?

Thanks!

Could it purely be that the Trackpad is not compatible, is there a work around please?

I think I figured out a way around it by scrolling to the top left and then bottom right to align the two points. It may be something that has to be repeated but it an work.

I notice that the GOG version does not suffer from this, but it does have a persistent mouse cursor in the hot click area (i.e. the part that the computer will assume you intend as the area to interact when clicking).

Hmmmm. That is odd. Someone with more Mac experience might be able to offer a workaround.

It is a solution, but more of workaround, I'll give you that. But there's nobody else here with an answer so if I was reading this I'd be glad of anything.
