Hi,

PlayOnLinux being written in Python and Bash, is doesn't need to be compiled, and can be run straight from a git checkout. However its dependencies (python-wxgtk 2.8 or 3.0 for one, and many more) need to be present, so again you need to install stuff in the system to get it going.

Maybe something could be done, using maybe Python eggs, or 0install technologies, but that's not something we tried.

Could you ask the admin of the system to grant you rights to install it?

Sorry, but if your school has it locked down, I don't think it is ethical to have us help you do something on that system that it is not supposed to be done. hahaha. Maybe it's just me...
