How to install Silverlight in a Firefox Virtual Drive?

I managed to get Netflix working here on Ubuntu thanks to the 'ppa:ehoover/compholio' instructions in this thread ( https://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-9681-Netflix.html ). These worked nicely for me, thanks.

I was wondering though if it would make sense to have a Netflix recipe for POL, that does effectively the same: Install Firefox and Silverlight within a Virtual Drive, and launch Firefox defaulting to netflix.com?

Alternatively, I tried to install Silverlight within a POL Firefox installation, but there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. Is there perhaps a method to do this that I've overlooked?

Maybe it does. However the issue might be the lack on manpower to maintain the script.

  1. Click the "Tools" drop down menu and select "Add-ons." This will open the Mozilla Firefox Add-ons Manager.
  2. Select the "Plug-ins" tab in the Add-ons Manager. Locate the Silverlight plugin. Open the drop-down menu box associated with Silverlight and select "Always activate."
