POL has hidden windows

POL gets stuck without visible windows

I had some initial success with POL ver 4.3.4 a few days ago, but something has changed.  On trying to create a New virtual drive, the process works okay (64b, 2.1-staging) and I get a window saying "Please wait while the virtual drive is being created..." and while I can see another window icon on the taskbar (with a Wine icon) the window is not visible.  I can't do anything to show that window (but I am a newbie to Linux).  So the process seems to be stuck since it presumably is waiting on me to respond to the "hidden" window.

Does anyone have a suggestion for me?  BTW, I have removed POL using the Software Manager, rebooted, and re-installed POL, with the same result.

I'm running Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon (stable).

Thank you, Patrick

"the window is not visible"   ->   Use a Wine version >= v2.22

Thanks for your suggestion.

I removed and reinstalled wine (5.0.1) and winetricks (20200412-next).

Using these tools I can now install SketchUp Make 2017 without POL.

I'll try using POL next to install Office 2010, and hopefully it will work well.
