Hi all,
I'm trying to install a Steam game (Far Cry 2) on Ubuntu (on a VMware virtual machine) with PlayonLinux. Before it actually would start to download the game, it downloaded and installed Wine and some other things, but DirectX runtime is being installed forever. The 'loading circle' keeps moving but it never finishes. I tried with new virtual machine as well but it always gets stuck here. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what could be done about it?
