Is there any way to install mods for this? I'm using a mac and have it installed and playable but I wanna venture in tryin' out the mods for the game. But I can't seem to find a way to do it the way it should using PlayOnMac. The usual instructions in the mod pages don't exactly mirror what I can do haha Thank you!

Perhaps this can help : http://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/The_PlayOnLinux_Filesystem

A example would help us to undertstand better the issue.

Well the instruction says that I should be activating a .bat file but I don't seem to understand how I'll be able to do that through PlayOnMac? There's also another mod that's saying that I should be executing the launch file using a path.

I think that it's impossible to run a .BAT file in POL/POM.    You should put the link to the web page you are reading.

The mod file is 3,5 GB, so please post the content of the .BAT file.

Hi again! Sorry for the late reply but here is the contents of the .bat file:

swfoc MODPATH=Mods\EAW-Remake

I think that the following trick may work : in the Configuration box, area Arguments (it's #16 on the second picture of the Wiki page), copy/paste 'MODPATH=Mods\EAW-Remake'.

Hi there, GOG version of EAW gold pack works perfectly using a Wineskin wrapper made from The Porting Kit on a Mac. I know that OS Catalina however may be an issue due to dropping 32 bit support but I use High Sierra on a 2011 iMac and it runs perfectly.

More importantly, earlier this evening I successfully got the Thrawn's Revenge and Empire at War Remake Mods to work too using the Wineskin advanced menu options. It's all to do with setting the target file mode to the.bat file used to start the required mod AND editing said .bat file using textedit to make sure the file path is correct.

Oh and you'll need to update the foc.exe with the 4GB patch in a Windows environment otherwise the game will crash if you have over 2GB of Ram. The patch comes with most of the MOD packages as standard. I updated the exe in Parallels before copying it back into the correct place inside the Wineskin wrapper.

Hope this helps!
