Hi playonlinux community

I see that elder scroll online is supported for: windows, mac, playstation4 and xbox one so i was wondering if anyone know why they are not planing on linux support or why steam is not forceing linux support for their platform.

Because there aren't many linux gamers compared to Windows/Console platforms. Valve is slowly introducing SteamOS (debian stable based) and integrating them in their Steam Machines. But well, it's all about where's the majority of gamers. Valve won't force linux support because they've said that isn't their plan... plus forcing an OS on anyone is a big no...

Personally I'm still waiting for ArenaNet to announce Guild Wars 2 linux client and Square Enix to release FFXIV: ARR linux client (now this one is a pipe dream) , I'm not sure when we'll see the day.

The only reasonable response I can think of krissi is a specialized kernal for the PS4 system. Other than that I have nothing, and although I understand the reason to the lack of linux support for games, I still find it rather unprofessional for gaming companies to leave even a small market so ignored.
