A beginner's very basic question on re-running .exe files

Hello!

I have installed with playonmac two .exe applications on my Mac. At the end of the setup wizards I was able to get the programs running. However, after quitting them, it seems that I don't have the opportunity to just click on their icons and get them directly running again. Instead, every time I have to go first through the installation process again. Is it really so, that I must always reinstall the programs before running them??

Thanks, Ilias

PlayOnMac -> configure -> select virtual drive -> Make shortcut from this virtual drive -> choose the .exe for the program you installed

Then it will just show up in the main playonmac window

As a general rule, never start the programs from their installers.

It is displayed only once by PlayOnLinux/PlayOnMac before the first installation, so that it doesn't become annoying, but I guess it should be displayed every time nonetheless :p

I meant choose the program to run that was installed (like how you would normally use the shortcut function; to create a shortcut to start the app.). Like, not the installer; the actual .exe that starts the program itself. Sorry if I was somewhat vague.

Sure, maybe I should have made it clearer that it was a second answer to the original question ;)
