Hello

I installed Uplay on ubuntu with playonlinux and i also installed Assassin's Creed 3 with the uplay launcher. When i start the game, following error occures: http://pastie.org/10096334 and it also fails at synchronizing my safegame data with the ubisoft cloud

anybody can help?

From what I was told Assassin's Creed 3 is a DirectX10 only game.  There is no DirectX9 compatibility.
Since Wine is far from d3dx10 compatible, it probably won't play at all.

Thanks for confirming, because I wanted to try it as well.

On the other hand, you can play I, II, Brotherhood and Revelations in PlayOnLinux.  They all run just fine
