Hi there, im trying to play a game called "Ace Online" Latinomerican version . but
its really hard , to find the DLLS the apps use to work.

The First thing , its well i found much dlls , and make it override in wine(s) - im making autocontent version i testing with differents versions of wine from playonlinux downloads.

Well , the "X-Trap" (Anti-Cheater) , show me an error "This Game Dont work under Virtual Machine" , and the issue its how to make "X-Trap" considere "Native" and not "Under Virtual Machine"

You can download the game from -> http://aceonline.axeso5.com/descarga-aceonline

If you can help us making a version of Wine for this game in 32 & 64 bits.
or tellme how to make it work in an autocontent version.
you know autocontent i mean something

Prefix=/home/my_user/AceOnline/Wine/data
Wineserver=/home/my_user/AceOnline/Wine/linux_86/bin/wineserver
Wineloader=/home/my_user/AceOnline/Wine/linux_86/bin/wineloader
GameCliente==/home/my_user/AceOnline/Wine/drive_c/software

I make it something like that for each game. XD
Plz response me , vi this way , and if possible via email inukaze@hotmail.com plz

Is there an english site?  Your link is in spanish only.
Do you know what Windows libraries it requires to run?
  • Direct X
  • dinput
  • Dot NET Framework
  • Microsoft XML
  • wininet
  • physx
  • Visual Basic
  • Internet Explorer
  • fonts

The Game have an Korean & English Version Too , because Im from Latin America (Venezuela) i use the Spanish Server.

Well i just know the Game use :

Macromodia Shockwave
Macromedia Director
Internet Explorer
DInput8
DirectX -> D3D9 D3D9D D3DXOF
Mshtml for the Updater , Similar to Ragnarok International.

its really hard to see what dlls , and Registry call are using the game , because the "Xtrap" kill the process of Monitoring or the game . and i cant see all things are using the game just to start and connect to the server.

I saw when the Launcher try to Exec "ACEOnline.atm Ip_Server Port1 Ip_Server Port2 User Password WindowMode Width Height Quality UnknowOption" for example

AceOnline.atm 209.251.187.185 15103 209.251.187.185 15101 inukaze mypassword 1 1024 768 2 0

Well , when the launcher exec that AceOnline.atm , that try to exec "AceOnline.exe" and this show "AceOnline.exe" not found =/ , all files are in the same folder :(

Ok, Shockwave and Director could be a problem. Also, make sure to set your Windows version (in Wine Configuration) to Windows XP.
Otherwise IE8 won't install.

I don't see any libraries in PlayOnLinux for Shockwave or Director, just Flash player.
I have a feeling that is your problem.
Also, Adobe isn't updating Flash player for native Linux anymore.

NOTE: Adobe Flash Player 11.2 will be the last version to target Linux as a supported platform. Adobe will continue to provide security backports to Flash Player 11.2 for Linux.

So at some point Ace Online may have to upgrade to HTML5
