 All,

First thank you to everyone involved in making play on Linux (and wine) work!

 However...

I need to (work requirements) use Microsoft Equation Editor 3.0 equations (not the nice new Mathtype equations (which work fine) but the old style).

When I attempt to insert - object - "Microsoft Equation 3.0" I am told that "Microsoft Word can't start the application required to open this object" and given the dialogue to repair the feature. Clicking yes opens the Microsoft Office configuration window and when this has finished I am told that "The program used to create this object is Equation. That program is either not installed on your computer or it is not responding...."

So I guess that I need to install some legacy Microsoft equation program? Any tips on how to do this? Am I doing something stupid?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

P.S. Configuration is: XUbuntu 13.10 and Play OnLinux installed from the Ubuntu repositories (version 4.2.1). Play OnLinux installed ms office 2010 Home and Student 64bit for me using wine 1.5.16.

A factual error in the above - I have the 32bit ms office 2010 installed.
