Sorry for my ignorance and lack of computer skills.
Trying to run Quicken 2004.
Install is good. Many features work, but when I try and open an account regester, I get a message that Quicken has to close.
This is the same with old files or new test regester file.
Latest wine, I think?
New install of Play On Lynux

Ubuntu 12.04 is VERY outdated. I suggest that you update your system first.

Without the debug output (check the stickies), we cannot tell. Please post the debug logs, as per the stickies, and we can check it out.

I would check appdb.winehq.org and search for that version of Quicken. You will most likely find the cause of it listed there.
