Hey guys!

I'm probably not the only person who has been scouring the internet for tutorials on this, but has anybody actually been able to get a version of Train Simulator 2015 working? I'm a bit of a 'noob' when it comes to using Wine or any other equalivilent. So any information would be appreciated?

I managed to follow one tutorial where I get to the point where I have nothing but a black-then-white screen, and a hidden error message?

Thanks

Hello - it works fine for me! I am using steam with wine version 1.7.53-steam_crossoverhack and it runs fine abeit a bit slowly but that is due to my rubish computer.

Of course it is now ts2016 but I don't know if that really makes a difference (upgrade is free)

I have installed and run it with no problems so if you use that version of wine, it should work OK.

Nice to meet someone else who plays train simulator!

What additional settings, components,... are you using?

I have <<10fps, so it's unplayable for me.

My computer shouldn't be the problem (i5-3570k, gtx670, 16GB DDR3, Kubuntu 14.04), it also runs fine on windows.
