I just got Linux Mint (cinnamon) running, and installed Crysis (the old best one!) in PlayOnLinux.

I can play the game singleplayer, but what I really want to do is play multiplayer.

Now.. some would say "that's not possible anymore".
But yes it is!. I have done it on windows for a long time, by using the patch from http://crymp.net
It's been working fine on windows.

So my question is..
Can I patch the installed game inside PlayOnLinux somehow?

In windows the patch would ask for the crysis install folder and automatically patch the game.

Click on the config icon, selected the game's wineprefix, go in the last tab and use "run inside wineprefix"

Do you mean: "Miscellaneous" > "Run a .exe file in this virtual drive"?

I tried that, and sadly it crashes.

":( Error in POL_Wine. Wine seems to have crashed".

So maybe I can't do it like this and need to run a full virtual windows to do it

Can you show me the log ?
