I was able to successfully install Diablo 2 LOD 1.14d on Ubuntu Mate 19.10 but when I want to connect to Battle.net the game freezes. Here is the output I get in the logs:

These last two lines repeat indefinitely. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

This caught my eye because I actually have a working copy installed myself. One of the things I noticed I had to do to stop getting errors was make a shortcut to the game.exe itself if I recall correctly. Now keep in mind I have an older OG copy of the game and the only thing that happens when I connect to BE is the game updates itself to the current version. I'd have to rebuy a key to connect fully in. That having been said though if running it directly from the game.exe doesn't solve your problem then I'd be more then happy to screenshot my set up for you so you can see what you've may have done differently then I have. Hope this helps and good luck mate.smiley
