I am on Big Sur version 11.6. I go to start downloading PlayOn Mac, then it takes me to the screen where you move PlayOnMac to the Applications folder. However, when I do that, it shows a message saying "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access 'PlayOnMac'." I go and right click on PlayOnMac, and i press "get info." I look at the permissions and it clearly shows that I have read and write permissions. I am extremely confused, and would like some help.

I'm wondering whether and how you've solved this problem as I'm having the same on Monterey.

I'm having the same problem on Ventura 13.1.

Would be great if either of you solved it and can share a solution.

**SOLVED** by uninstalling Wine and Wine & WineBottler. Clearly there was a conflict between the Wine in the PlayOnMac installer and the already installed versions.
