i've noticed suddenly my monitor's refresh rate is stuck at 240hz, which i believe is making games look extremely stuttery even if they are running at 100, 150 fps and the frametime graph is pretty flat. this was not happening a couple of days ago, and i haven't changed any settings in game, in display settings, or on my monitor.
changing vsync settings in game is also not helping. changing it to like 120, or 60 helps smooth it out a little, but thats not an ideal solution at all  .
specs are:
rx 6800xt, r7 5800x, 32gb ram running endeavouros with kde plasma 5.27.10
ideas?
