I have a 2009 macbook pro running OSX 10.6.6, 4GB DDR3, 2.8GHz Core2 Duo.
I am running POM version 2.4.4 with WINE version 1.2, XQuartz 2.6.0 (xorg-server 1.9.3)
Wine is emulating windows XP in my current configuration.
Ok now to the question:
I am having mouse recognition problems while running Mass effect. And does anyone have a workaround?
-after installing POM and the prerequisites I ran the steam client that comes with POM and updated it to the current version. once that was done I downloaded and installed Mass Effect. (Note: Download and installation was done via the Windows steam client and not my Mac steam client.) After Mass Effect finished installing it also installed Direct X and then launched the game.
The game seems to run more or less smoothly as much as i would expect from an emulation on top of OSX, but within the game I can see the mouse, but any clicks a user tries do nothing. The mouse does work in the steam client pre launching the game.
Does anyone know of a way to either configure or work around this mouse issue?
