HI guys.
I have a problem with Oblivion (many seem to have similar experiences) but in my case, after setting everything up fine through Playonmac configuration, I run the game and the debugger comes up stating:
'The Elder Scrolls 4 - Oblivion failed to run. What do you want to do?'
I then click 'show me the log file' and it states: wine: cannot find ''
Anybody have any ideas? I have the pc files on my mac with all the necessary files, including the .exe. but I don't have the cd. Could this be the problem?
I'd appreciate any help here!
And thanks so much for all the great work with this application, fantastic job really! :D

Yep, it's the problem.
You need to have the CD, and use the official installer (Install menu)

Hmm okay thanks... I tried burning the files to disk, mounting an .ISO, everything really! I guess I'm out of luck!
Thanks anyway!

I have the original game in England, in fact I actually bought it twice lol ! It's just now I live in Spain and I wanted to find a way of playing the games without sending all my old cd's over here :s Ce n'est pas grave c'est que j'aime beacoup ce jeu en particulier, en fait je l'ai déjà sur l'autre partition de mon Mac, mais tu vois je n'ai pas envie de changer le mode chaque fois :p

Par contre si ça ne fonctionne pas mieux avec l'original, n'hésite pas à prévenir sur le forum français
