Synopsis:

I was hoping wine3 would run the non-cloud LR6 running, but I'm seeing this on startup:

Does this seem like something we could solve?

Background:

I got the LR6 Classic installer from https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-downloads.html ( Lightroom_6_LS11.exe ).

What I've done:

installed wine 3.0 amd64 through PoL
deleted libz which lead to errors

 find ~/.PlayOnLinux/ -name 'libz*' -print0|xargs -0r rm

run this script modified from the LR5 script

Selected my exe and run the installation
Clicked "Try before buy"
Clicked "log in" – here it eventually times out, log showing things like

After the timeout, however, it lets you "log in later" and keep installing
At the end it says "some components failed" and links to an html file containing:

Then when running the Adobe Lightroom 6.lnk, it crashes with the dll errors as shown at the top of this post.

See the full playonlinux.log (it claims it can't find libpng12.so.0, but I do have this file in /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpng12.so.0).
