I just played Splinter Cell and Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow without real issues. Very few small graphical glitches only, not to mention.
Well, I own Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Splinter Cell: Double Agent, too.
I installed Chaos Theory, to play the next game of the series. It worked so far.
But, when i try to start the game, i get a small window, telling me:
"Now restart your Computer to finish the installation of the copy protection drivers".
I get two buttons with it, "yes" or "no" and both answers lead to a wine error message.
End of program :(
I tried this feature in pol-wine-configuration, "restart windows", but it doesn't help.
I installed it manually for xp, included latest wine, corefonts, tahoma, dxfullsetup etc.
I am an old veteran gamer from times of C=64 on - used to ms-dos and basic - but i prefer linux ubuntu trusty tahr and dislike windy win-doh!-s and nasty nsa and webwielding whackers and spying spiders - face me in a dungeon and i'll show you (you mobs)!
